Too often, people are not consuming the right food types and ratios necessary for good health and their fitness goals. Unfortunately, as a result of there being a lot of conflicting and confusing information about, frequently people are mistakenly focused on cutting carbs, counting calories, ‘paleo’ eating, or very low-fat diets, when all this is unnecessary and actually detrimental. All these things do is result in various health issues, including metabolism problems, low energy, hunger, headaches, excess body fat, hormonal imbalances, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.
Nourishing our bodies with a whole-foods plant-based diet, which provides the right nutrients in the right amounts, is what we actually need – and it is much easier to do than we are all led to believe.
When you begin your nutrition coaching with me, firstly your starting point needs to be established, so I know what changes may be required. Therefore the first step will be completing a nutrition and lifestyle assessment, and monitoring your intake. From this information I will guide you with how to make changes in a manageable way, so you easily create new food habits, which you can maintain for life. I will provide guidance as to the best way for you to eat, and you will receive support and advice on how to implement this into your daily life (food preparation and planning tips, etc). Very soon you will be feeling happier about food, won’t be worrying about counting calories or feeling hungry, will have more energy, and will be looking and feeling your best!
My nutrition coaching is available as a stand-alone service either face-to-face or via online/distance training, and nutrition guidance is included with all my personal training programs.
Fitness and health must begin with nutrition, and it is important to be healthy on the inside, as well as looking good on the outside. By eating well, you will not only look great, you will feel fantastic!
